We are glad to announce that the Library is moving forward with the next stage of our gradual reopen plan! At this stage, we will begin providing access to the building Monday – Friday, 10 AM – 4 PM while continuing curbside and delivery services as requested.
If you would like more information about how curbside and delivery services work, please see our earlier Library Update here.
Here’s how Library Visits will Work:
We will continue to monitor the number of patrons to be sure we stay under the 45 person maximum guideline. In order to help with this, we ask that you check in with the Librarian when you arrive. If you have a large group of 15 or more people, we ask that you call ahead to schedule your visit.
During your visit, you are welcome to browse the shelves as normal. If you are bringing materials to return, please continue to use the outside book return. If you bring your returns inside the Library with you, please place them in the blue tubs near the entrances rather than at the Library desk. Since we are continuing to quarantine items, this helps us keep that temporary system working well.
Hand sanitizer is available at the entrances, the computer stations, the newspaper table, and the front desk. Librarians will be wearing masks while patrons are onsite; patrons are welcome but not required to wear masks.
If other patrons are also here during your visit, please allow 6 feet of social distancing, which is the length of 3 carpet tiles at the Library. For those using the computers, we will be cleaning computer keyboards and mice after each use.
This current stage will continue for at least 2 weeks; updates on our gradual reopening will continue to be posted here on our website and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your understanding and hope you stay healthy!
