The Lindsborg Community Library always welcomes volunteers!

Volunteers have a choice of many varied tasks that all provide vital services to the library or used book store! While a great service to the library, it also provides another way to meet more members of our community, too!

If you are interested in learning more, please make plans to join our Volunteer Training on Saturday, August 18, 10:30 – 11:30 A.M. Information about volunteer opportunities will be shared, along with basic training on shelving and circulation for interested individuals.

Once trained, adult volunteers are welcome to schedule regular volunteer sessions, drop-in to volunteer as it works for their schedule, or be placed on a list for Librarians to call when volunteers are needed for special events.

This session is intended for adults; teens in grades 7-12 are welcome to apply for the Teen Squad Volunteer program.

The Library is currently seeking applications for the Teen Squad’s 2018-19 school year session. Each squad member will individually schedule 1-4 volunteer hours per month, but the entire Teen Squad will also meet for training, planning, and fun on a monthly basis. Members do not need to attend all Squad meetings to be part of the program, but we do want to see you there as much as we can. The first Squad meeting will be held Saturday, August 25, 10:30 – 11:30 A.M. at the Library.

In order to join the Teen Squad, teens must be in grades 7-12 and submit an application form to the Library. Applications are available now at the Library Front Desk.
