National Library Week 2021

It’s National Library Week! Celebrate with us the many ways that Libraries add value to our lives, offering opportunities for education, exploration, enrichment, and enjoyment. There are three days with special highlights:

Tuesday, April 6 is National Library Workers Day, a day for library staff, users, administration, and Friends groups to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers. Celebrate by telling the Librarians that you appreciate their work!

Wednesday, April 7 is National Library Outreach Day, a day to celebrate library outreach and the dedicated library professionals who are meeting their patrons where they are. Have you appreciated receiving delivery services? Let us know!

Thursday, April 8 is Take Action for Libraries Day, a day to rally advocates to support libraries. Libraries need adequate funding in order to provide services to all in our communities. Take action by telling elected officials the importance of providing funding for Library services!
