The 2016 Summer Reading Program is Coming!
School is out and summer is coming… which makes us excited for the Summer Reading Program at the Library!
New this year is the Family Adventure – encouraging families to get out and explore together this summer. There are eight challenges to complete throughout June and July; each challenge completed earns a badge for the family’s Adventure Map and a chance to win the Grand Prize Drawings held June 30 & July 30.
Our reading challenges return: Children K-6th grade have reading logs to track every 15 minutes spent reading and earn a small prize every time they complete 10 15-minute bubbles. Children under 5 have an Early Literacy Activity Sheet they can complete to earn a small prize.
Then there are fun summer programs: story times, movie nights, LEGO™ Club, art, cooking, and more. Check out our June schedule here: SRP June 2016
We hope you’ll make visiting the library part of your summer plans!
