We are excited to announce that we are 9 weeks out from our estimated construction start date! While the actual timeline is subject to change, we will be sharing countdown updates starting now .

At left is a picture of the remodeled design. The shaded areas are confirmed & fully funded for the upcoming construction phase. This includes a complete remodel of the Library expansion at 109, creating the entryways between the two buildings, and remodeling the front desk area to fit between the new openings. Many thanks to all of our generous donors who have made this possible!

Our architect is 60% done with the construction drawings required for this portion of the project. This morning, Library staff gathered to review the preliminary designs for the new circulation desk and staff break room. Our input will be used to make sure the design is done well – and specifically for how our staff team works to provide library services to our community.

Onsite construction work currently has an estimated start date of January 24, 2025. During construction, a temporary wall will be put into place to separate construction from library spaces. We will continue to provide library services from a reduced layout accessed through the mural entrance. Further details on what that will entail will be shared as we plan & learn more.
