The Lindsborg Community Library offers program events for children birth – 6th grade. School Year Programs run September through early May, with a self-paced Winter Library Program offered in December & January. The Summer Library Program is held in June & July with both events and self-paced reading challenge components.

Always Available Programs, such as scavenger hunts, coloring, or activity tables, are usually presented on a monthly basis. These activities are available for you to enjoy anytime you visit the Library and are often offered for 1 – 2 weeks.

Drop-in Storytime is a come-and-go or come-and-stay style program for families with children age 5 and younger to stay for as short or long as suits their schedules. Our 2024 spring program is offered Tuesday mornings, 10AM – 11:30 AM through May 10.

Gathering playtime includes child-directed play with options including the train table, play kitchen, stacking spools, blocks, and more. Structured storytime portions include a focus on singing, rhymes, and board books, or active songs and longer reading, as adjusted to the ages present. Guided playtime includes options such as bubbles, sensory bins, felt boards, and art or craft projects.

LEGO™ Club is an hour-long program for children to build based on creative and/or engineering prompts.  Bricks are provided by the Library… just bring your imagination! Builders younger than 5 must be accompanied by an adult or teen helper during the entire program. LEGO™ Club currently meets Thursday afternoons at 4:00 PM through May 9, 2024.
