America 250

We are looking forward to celebrating America’s Sesquicentennial at the Library this year with multiple events and self-paced programs, including displays of our country’s founding documents, gathering our shared stories, and activities for all ages. Text: America 250 Duckie Scavenger Hunt is surrounding by eight rubber ducks decorated with patriotic themes, including a Lady Liberty costume, Uncle Sam costume, and red, white, and blue designs featuring "USA," stars, balloons, or fireworks.

Duck Scavenger Hunt

The Library & Local Partners are hiding 250 ducks around Lindsborg as part of a scavenger hunt for all ages to celebrate America’s 250th birthday! Their first hiding places will be downtown, around Bethany Village, Bethany College, and the Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum. All of the duckies that are part of our America 250 Celebration have an identifying sticker on the bottom – if you find one, you are welcome to keep it or hide it again to keep the scavenger hunt going!
